Wild Ball
The Wild Ball option gives you more ways to win on Pennsylvania Pick 2, Pick 3, Pick 4 or Pick 5 games.
The lottery draws one single-digit Wild Ball number before each Day and Evening draw. This number can be used for all the Pick games for that draw. Use the Wild Ball number to replace one of the numbers the lottery draws to give you more chances to make a winning combination, or even win two prizes.
Adding Wild Ball doubles the cost of your play type.
Wild Ball does not change the numbers on your ticket. It can be used in place of one of the numbers the lottery draws to help you create a winning match.
Only the Wild Ball number the lottery randomly selects for that draw may be used to replace another of the lottery's Pick game numbers for that draw.
Wild Ball prizes and chances of winning are different from the base Pick game prizes. If you add Wild Ball to your play, you can win the base game prize, the Wild Ball prize, or even both prize levels! Here's how to win (examples below use Pick 3 and a $1 Straight bet):
- Match your numbers to the lottery's numbers and win the base Pick game prize. For example, your numbers are 253 and the lottery draws 253. You win the $500 Straight match prize.
- Replace one of the lottery's numbers with the Wild Ball number to make a winning match and win the Wild Ball prize. For example, your numbers are 253, the Wild Ball is 2, and the lottery draws 153. Use the Wild Ball 2 to replace the lottery's 1 and win the Wild Ball prize of $200.
- If you can do both of the above - make a winning match with your own numbers, and also by using Wild Ball - you win both the base game and Wild Ball prizes! For example, your numbers are 253, the lottery draws 253, and the Wild Ball is 2. You can match the lottery selection with your own numbers, and also create a winning match with Wild Ball. You win the base prize of $500 plus the Wild Ball prize of $200 for a total win of $700!
